Winter Hill
Started well with a ringtail Hen Harrier at 815am although south of the mast and over the Manchester border.
Couple each of Raven, Carrion Crow and Red Grouse heard was about it !
A few Meadow Pipit on George’s Lane

Belmont Reservoir
c100 Mallard and just 3 Teal. 30 Lapwing.

Tincklers Lane fields from Syd Brook Lane
2 Raven
100+ Fieldfare and Redwing
12 Long-tailed Tit
6 Common Snipe and 2 separate sightings of probably the same *Jack Snipe. First was from the Lily Ponds (same as Common Snipe) and second was from the bottom of the field - i saw very well the broad golden stripes on its back as it rose silently from virtually under my feet and headed back to the Lily Pond.
4 Mandarin and 2 Goosander over.

Meadow Lane, Croston
Mixed gulls including Herring and LBB. 20-30 Lapwing and mixed corvid flock mainly Jackdaw.

Eyes Lane
2 Raven.

* Jack Snipe takes me to 145 species for the year.
