Withnell Fold

Post by Neil Southworth » Sat Oct 12, 2019 5:40 pm

Dire is the only word to describe it. Although there's now plenty of water in the fields, there are no birds. Literally none. Whether this is because of deliberate disturbance, I don't know but it's unusual. Birds seen along the canal included Cormorant, Sparrowhawk and Kingfisher but no Buzzard.
Insects:- a fence full of Alderleaf Beetles.
