West Pennine Moors

Evening cycle ride across the moors from Brinscall - Great Hill - Spitlers Edge - LMV and back to Anglezarke, I must have flushed 100+ mipits along the way, I don't the numbers up there on the moors, but it must be huge with the fledglings added to the adults. Got very close up views of a male stonechat and a curlew - the birds don't seem so nervy when you on a bike. 3 painted lady butterflies on Great Hill cairn.
