Evening walk-Buckshaw, Thursday 20th June

This is a circular walk to include the linear ponds on Buckshaw Avenue -hopefully some amphibians and insects plus aquatic and marsh plants and Mossfield nature reserve -wood and grassland species.
Swift Awareness Week is the following week yet we will be obviously scouring the skies for any swifts plus of course,other birds.
Meet at ALDI's car park 7pm please.

look out for lapwing chicks on roundabout near the factories/ warehouses

There were also two oystercatchers on the island yesterday -must have plenty of food in that grass!

Should be an interesting evening and weather forecast is favourable -fingers crossed.
