14 Whooper Swan including 4 or 5 juveniles, small skein of Pinkfeet over, 30 Mallard on the flood and 20+ on the river. Also on the river were 4 Teal, male Goosander, 4 Moorhen. 2 or 3 Buzzard and a Kestrel were the only raptors. 100+ Pheasant were put up by the beaters. 2 Lapwing were off Lock lane and a Redshank was heard calling. The largest flock was of 500+ Starling with others including 40+ Stock Dove, 20+ BH Gull, 15 Fieldfare and plenty of Skylark. Other sightings included Grey Heron 2, Pied Wagtail, Linnet and Corn Bunting 2.
