Blue Tits

Post by paul b » Wed Jun 13, 2018 7:15 pm

Three nest boxes successfully used in our garden and near neighbour's -it will now be interesting to see how BT's fare in next year's Garden bird survey.

Plus would be interesting to know how many other forum users have had similar success this year (so far)

1 out of our 2 boxes used by Blue Tits. Difficult to count the fledged birds in the trees but at least 4 still about. We've also had successful fledging by Great and Long-Tailed Tits, Blackbirds and Goldfinches. Blackbirds appear to be sitting on a second clutch of eggs now. 3 Pairs of House Martin on surrounding houses.
