At Least 24 on the lodge as I just drove past in the pick up at 2pm.

Super shots Phil.

Forgot to mention lady dog-walker asked what a small brown bird would be . I suggested a Dunnock and she said she would look it up in a Birdbook.

Then she said that she had seen a bird with a blue back and just as I was going to say I didn't know a Kingfisher shot into view across the the far side of the lodge ! Surprised

Here's the bird from Mere Sands Wood yesterday.

Forgot to mention that while photographing the Goosanders this morning, a Kingfisher flew across the lodge.

There were 25 there this aft at 3.30. That was until l got my camera out & they all took off. Didnt see which direction they flew either as i was under the trees. Embarassed Embarassed
Also saw a treecreeper & a nuthatch in the woods

last friday, I counted 28 on the lake, I watched the numbers incease from 2 on the monday to 28, very nice to see them around here...
