Around 300 passed over Pall Mall, Chorley at 12:30ish in 5 skeins

1000+ on fields off Meadow Lane Croston at 2:30pm

A skein of approx 100 birds seen heading east towards Winter Hill at 9:00 am today.

Several Skeins over Astley Village this morning heading ESE 8-45 to 9am , estimated 1400 birds. It amazing they have took the same route for millennium. When I was a lad on my paper round at weekend, I'd always get to Brown street around 9am and see them like clockwork at this time of year.

100+ heading towards the setting sun last night over Eccleston .
