A day off on the golf course but with always an eye and ear out for wildlife.

Ring necked Parakeet - 1-2 heard on a couple of occasions
Oystercatcher 1 on the fairway (it knew it was safe there !)
Whitethroat, Blackcap and Chiffchaff all in song
Buzzard 2
Jay 1
Mistle Thrush 2
Great Spotted Woodpecker 1 (plus a wing in the rough)
Swift 2 over south, House Martin 1
LBB and Herring Gull over
Nuthatch 3 heard
Plus usual tits, Wren, Robin, Goldfinch, Chaffinch etc.

Butterflies
Meadow Brown 2
Painted Lady 2
Red Admiral 1

Dragonflies/Damselflies
Sorry don’t know my species but included:
Slim turquoise Damselfly
Large blue bodied Dragonfly with black/brown wings
Large brown bodied Dragonfly with black/brown wings

Mammals
Grey Squirrel 2
