Morning stroll. 10.00-12.30.

Eyes Lane/River Douglas.
Lapwing c20. Oystercatcher 2. Redshank. Shelduck 12. Mallard c15. female Goosander with 3 ducklings. Moorhen 3. Canada Goose 2. Kestrel. Red legged Partridge 2. Yellowhammer 5-10. Reed Bunting 2. Linnet 2. Goldfinch 4. Sedge Warbler 3. Common Whitethroat 4. Blackcap. Swallow 6. Pied Wagtail 2. Skylark 5-10.

Canal at Sollom.
Mallard 6. Moorhen 2+1 young. Reed Bunting 4. Reed Warbler 15. Sedge Warbler 2.

Butterflies.
Orange Tip 10-15. Peacock. Small Tortoiseshell.

Just after you left Paul , a Common Tern flew low along the canal.Also on the canal two different forms of female Blue-tailed Damselflies, violacea and rufescens.
