Post by gary lilley »

Great to find a spotted flycatcher this morning along back lane ( near to junction of bradley lane ) it was a very lucky sighting it briefly showed on top of a dead tree before flying towards the wood next to the the farm buildings fingers crossed it may breed in the area , also spotted ,chiffchaff , blackcap , whitethroat , wrens , good to see juv blackbirds and song thrush .
Spotted flycatcher brings the chorley year list up to 130 species .
