Croston Moss
A Reeves Pheasant on the moss showed well late afternoon. It was in a field with other males and females and a local chap I was talking to said it was fighting with two males the other day. Could be an escapee but apparently some have bred in the wild. He also said it didn't belong to any of the properties on the moss. Other birds seen; Whitethroat. Chaffinch. Linnet. Goldfinch. Blackcaps. B/G LT Tits. Robin. Wren. Blackbirds. Lots of corvids. Collard Doves. Woodpigeons. Tree Sparrows. 1 Pied Wagtail. Lapwings and 1 Brown Hare.
