Between the fishing pond and the level crossing. In bushes between the road and railway.

Re: Lesser Whitethroat
Another good spot to hear\see them Len is along the path via the big metal gate further along the lane and last year I also saw one last year in a hedgerow in fields between the e-shaped ponds and Wymott (got me interested now, might head out there tomorrow morning!)

Re: Lesser Whitethroat
Thanks John & Neville, I went there last night after work but could not find it. I had more luck tonight, only the occasional low volume burst of song, but I managed to see it and get an half decent photograph. Other birds seen and heard over both visits, were 1 Blackcap, 2 Willow Warbler, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Garden Warbler (mobile and came within 6 feet of me, but even so I could not see it), 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, 3 Bullfinch, several Chaffinch and Goldfinch, at least 3 singing Song Thrushes, 2 Blackbird, 3 Robin, 2 Dunnock, 1 Blue Tit, 2 Long Tailed Tit, 5 Great Tit, 2 singing Goldcrest, Woodpigeon, Magpie, Oystercatcher, 9 Canada Geese.
Whilst I was waiting for the Lesser Whitethroat* to appear I heard its larger cousin a Common Whitethroat* singing on the other side of the railway line.
On the way there I heard a Sedge Warbler* singing at the E-shaped pond.
This morning I saw a House Martin* in Coppull near to the junction of Chapel Lane and Coppull Moor Road and also there were two Swallows on a telephone line not far from the printers Arms.
4 new species takes my total to 111.
