Birds seen/heard - Robin, Dunnock, Wren, Chaffinch heard, 3 Greenfinch, 8 Goldfinch, Blackbird, Song Thrush* (singing), Mistle Thrush heard, 40+ Fieldfare*, Cormorant* over, 2 Common Buzzard, 3 Kestrel, 4 Whooper Swans* dropped into a flooded field near dusk, 80+ Linnet*, 8 Corn Bunting*, 2 Meadow Pipit* over, approx 120 Lapwing* in one flock and 120 Pink Footed Geese over heading west at dusk.

8 new ticks takes my Chorley Area species list to 60.
