Marshside

Plenty of birds on show today at Marshside. Lots of waders and Pink footed, Greylag and Canada geese around. Also good numbers of Black tailed Godwits, Curlew, Lapwings and gulls. 1 GBB Gull. 1 Sparrowhawk. 1 Marsh Harrier. 1 Merlin flying around in the old sand works making the many skylarks very nervous. Also LT Tits, Great Tits, Linnet and Goldfinch around the same area. Quite a few Little Egrets and 5 Cattle Egrets together feeding near the cattle in the field, two of which were catching frogs.
