Cuerden Valley

Not sure were the boundaries are on the Chorley side. Or if there is one. Very few birds seen. Grey Heron on one of the depleting ponds. Canada Geese. Moorhen. Juvenile Jay. Magpie with a juv. Corvids. Woodpigeon. Chiffchaff. Common Buzzard and a well grown Dipper across from the play centre. Very few small birds seen.
Black tailed Skipper. Large/small Whites. Comma. Meadow Brown.1 Painted Lady. Peacock Caterpillar. Lots of Banded demoiselles on the river.

All Cuerden Valley Park is in the CNHS recording area. When you put black tailed skipper, do you mean skimmer?
