Bretherton eyes .

Went in hope of hearing a Quail amongst the wheat fields but no luck, did find though plenty of warblers and buntings chiffchaff , blackcap , lots of whitethroats including several juvs , at least one of each of sedge and grasshopper warblers ( first gropper ive heard in this area :D ) around 5 reed buntings 2 yellowhammer , several singing skylarks , 2 lapwing , 1 heron , 2 shelduck , mallards , wren , dunnock , robin , blackbird , chaffinch , goldfinch , linnet , .
