Female adult has injury to left foot where something became entangled. She appears to have removed it but a wound could be seen.

The youngsters will fledge very soon and we can only hope the paparazzi and local peregrine enthusiasts are there for these most regal of birds if things go pear shaped, less we not forget the 2011 drama. Notably in 2011 the rspb and rspca were not very helpful and Graham French and I decided to put two rescued youngsters in care for a few days which was a big gamble at the time but it paid off . If my advice is sought in the coming days my mobile is 07904337512, cheers.

One of the young falcons took its first flight today and happily landed safely on top of the tower.

The second male juvenille had it's maiden flight this evening when he lost his balance on the ledge and tumbled after the female pushed past him.

It would appear all three young are now on the wing, which is great news indeed.

Yes, I called by St George's late morning and there was no sign of adults or young, so maybe they'd been taken on a tour of the area, or maybe they'll relocate to Morrison's?

Not quite sure what this one is carrying. However, After making a few enquiries, I have been told by a few 'in the know' folk that it is likely to be a Slow Worm. This would fit the scenario of me taking 2 frames & it showing in the first but not the second. Apparently, when attacked by a predator they shed their tails. This may not have reached the young centemeters away but it would have dropped on to the lower roof.

Now that the young have fledged I'm going to post a series of pics of this season's offspring.
The first 3 pics are the earlier ones.
