12.30-1.30pm - buzzard perched in tree, LBB gull, swallow, goldfinch, dunnock singing, small flock (6) of linnet over the oil seed rape field. Good numbers of house & tree sparrows, c whitethroat, willow warbler, chiffchaff and reed bunting. Large family of LT tits with 9 fledglings perched on the same branch huddled together. No sign of the newly fledged willow tits from last week. Distinct lack of yellowhammer on/around the site over the last year or so. Plenty of bees and small whites over the wood anemone(?) flowers. Also many speckled woods.

Odonata: Common darter, common blue/azure damselfly (I'll get the difference eventually!), brown hawker on the ponds (bit fuller after recent rain).
