Arley NR Wood & Adlington Reservoir - 6.30-8.00

Early and sunny morning start, birds seen - GC grebe, cormorant (6), gr heron (2), Canada goose (2), Mandarin duck (3), teal (4), mallard, buzzard (2, one calling repeatedly), pheasant, moorhen (4), BH gull, woodpigeon, kingfisher (catching a fish), GSW (heard), pied wagtail, wren, robin, blackbird, fieldfare (overhead), LT - Bl - Gr - Coal tit and (thx to the NATS posters, as its not a bird I recall seeing in Chorley before) willow tit, nuthatch (several), treecreeper, jay, magpie, crow, chaffinch, linnet (4, into summer plumage), yellowhammer (8), reed bunting (2).

Willow tit and the 2 dabchicks at Astley brings me to 90 species this year.
