While out doing the duck count today. We came across quite a lot of blue flowers I hadnt see before. They were on some ground that used to have horses on. on checking my flower book they turned out to be Chicory. Is it not usually seen localy.?

Nice find Nora, apparently there's a good show of them down south this year - they are quite common down there, we do get them up here as you have found - good one for the tick list.

Also been told the young shoots are nice in a salad.

Carol.
