Healey Nab -- Blue Waters 1st Sept

Post by john cobham »

Having visited Healey Nab Blue Waters on 1st I found there to be numerous Dragonflies and Damselflies. Due to my lack of knowledge on these I could not identify all of them. Some I managed to photograph and they are tabled below. NOT all are known to me and they are tabled as a Society record not quality of shot.
There is a Black Hawker , possibly a Common Hawker and an unknown Damselfly.

John,

The damselfly is an Emerald damselfly (Lestes sponsa). The Common Hawker id is correct.
