Had a search for fungi last night, around the empty reservoir at white coppice, along the goit, to watermans cottage.
38 species now identified.

Also saw a tawny owl on the way back to the car.

Well worth a visit with the camera.
We found a cep and the cap was bigger than my head, very fresh too.
Unfortunately it, or should I say part of it, is being eaten today, because they are delicious.
Lots of orange birch boletes, ghost boletes and fly agarics in fabulous condition to mention a few.
