Fungi ID
Hi Dave
The first two pics def look like Aniseed Funnel (Clitocybe Adora)
The 3rd pic I would say Shaggy Parasol (Macrolepiota Rhacoides)
The 4th - A real puzzler. Helvella sp perhaps.
The 5th - Are they growing on an old spruce/pine cones could be a Conecap if that is the case.
The last one I cannot remember its name but its in a book down at Harry`s so will get back to you at the weekend if no one else can come up with its name.
Great pics.
Cheers Ian.

Hi Dave,
The last one has just come to me - it is as Bryan suggested a lichen -
Dog Lichen (Peltigera Canina).

Just catching up with recent 'postings'. As I have said many times in the past, it is almost impossible to give positive ID of fungi, even from very good photos. However, I agree with Ian's suggestions of Aniseed Toodstool for 1 & 2 and Dog Lichen for 5.
3. Guessing from the background that it is much smaller than Shaggy Parasol, I think Brian's Lepiota is more likely to be correct.
4. Looking at my books, I agree this could be a Helvella, possibly the one known as Felt Saddle, Helvella macroporus, a species that I have never seen growing.
For the society's records, please Dave can you indicate at which of the three sites you mention, each species was recorded as Mere Sands Wood isn't in our recording area.

Fungi pic 3
Dave,
Looking at the pic again (and its relative size as Joyce pointed out) I think it is more likely to be Stinking Parasol (Lepiota cristata) - I know we have found this species at Mere Sands before.

Thanks, Dave for the sites. Pity the most interesting species were at Mere Sands Wood, as I suspected they might be. I have in the past recorded Lepiota cristata at Birkacre - by the path between the car park and the first bridge over the river.
Thanks again Ian and Joyce
