FrogSpawn on Land!!!!

Post by Hewitt03 »

while waiting for the bus, I saw a shiny glossy lump of stuff on the floor, I tapped it with my foot, - {thinking it was a weird fungi/plant} and it was frog spawn - beside a fence - away from a pond. normal???

I expect the answer is that someone deceided to take frogspawn from a pond to take it home - sort of thing I might have tried in childhood! They may then have got bored with the idea or been told by an irate parent to get rid of it.

Also some pond owners dislike having frogs (incredible though that may seem to us) and destroy spawn when they find it.
