Queen Tree Bumblebee

One in sunlit conservatory yesterday -presumably had been hibernating in there-set free to hopefully find a nesting hole (or birdbox!)

Another queen today -not the same one because no windows open!

Another two flying, so Tree bumblebees really established here now-for those who don't know they're the collared dove of the bee world, only added to the breeding list in 2001 and then spreading rapidly north -they often use bird boxes as nests.
