Croston moss Mink
A Mink was swimming around in the Sluice for a good few minutes before going up a drainage hole. Birds seen; 48 Whooper Swans including 7 young in a field by the side of the river Douglas. A Barn Owl was sat mid-way up a tree with 45 Fieldfare on the top branches across from the river. Hundreds of Pink Foots & Wood Pigeons. Lots of Corvids. Linnet & Goldfinch with a few Skylark. Chaffinch. Robin. Dunnock & Blackbird. 1 Heron. 8 Moorhens. 23 Collared Doves near the feeders. Willow Tit on the feeder with Tree Sparrows. Lots of Pheasants. 3 Buzzards. 3Kestrels. At least a couple hundred Starlings came in as daylight faded. Beautiful sight.
