Birds seen: 2 Common Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 2 Lesser Redpoll, flock of 7 Linnet, at least 2 Meadow Pipit, 1 Skylark, Nuthatch, Mistle Thrush, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Mallard, Moorhen, Magpie & Carrion Crow.

Lepidoptera: 1 Red Admiral.

Fungi: 2 Fly Agaric next to goit, lots of waxcaps on cricket field.

Pleased the waxcaps have appeared at last as Tony Bond and I are scheduled to do the third and final survey of waxcaps for Natural England/potential SSSI status on Wednesday.

There were a good number of several species, including Blackening Waxcap, Slimy Waxcap, Snowy Waxcap, Golden Waxcap, Scarlet Waxcap and possibly the Heath Waxcap.
