Evening visit in hope of spotting a water rail at top lodge but no luck , teal numbers had built up to 10 birds on the top lodge , 2 moorhen were feeding on the mud were the water rail has been seen before , 7 tufted duck , 1 gc grebe on the main lodge , 4 redwing overhead , 1 sparrowhawk , 2 cormorant on the tern raft flew off .

No sight or sound this afternoon. Birds that were on view included Teal 8, Tufted Duck 7, GC Grebe, Cormorant 2, Buzzard 2, Sparrowhawk, GS Pecker, Grey Wagtail 2 or 3.
