Anglezarke Reservoir
Paid an evening visit, in the hope that something might have dropped in for the night. However, the islands were covered with 300+ BH Gulls, so there wasn't much room for anything else!

Hi Neil.
Greenshank feeding between watermans cottage and mud islands 20/8/14 around 11:00am, also adult Ringed Plover on mud islands, Plover was hassled off by Lapwings and was last seen flying erratically low south down Anglezarke res. Also 70 + Lapwing.
21/8/14. 8:30 am. Different Greenshank ( darker plumage than yesterdays) near watermans cottage with 1 Redshank. Also 30+ Lapwing
21/8/14 4 Kingfishers on Heapey No 1 lodge ( including juveniles ).

Greenshank again feeding frenetically in channel between mud banks near Waterman's. Otherwise, a single Grey Heron, 6 Cormorant, 20+ Lapwing, 4 Moorhen and a few BH and LBB Gulls.
