hedgehog

Post by John Catt »

Not sure if this is the right place for this post but I thought it would get noticed quicker on here. I found a very small hedgehog wandering around my garden today. I've put it in a box and wrapped it in a towel with some water and dried fruit (going to get some cat food tomorrow) does anybody have any advise or phone numbers for local shelters or help, or would it be better to just put it back in the garden once its had a bit of food and continue with its hibernation. I hope someone can help

cheers John

Hi John
Hillcrest vets on Water St will take it in and won't charge as it's a wild animal.
I have taken them there before, and they have called me back when fit enough to be released so you can put it back where you found it.
