Re: WAXWINGS!!!
Went past on the way home from a meeting in Newton-Le-Willows, had a clear view of one bird as I drove past at 16:35, but there could have been more.

Re: WAXWINGS!!!
Single Waxwing again on the rowan bush in Collingwood Road, opposite the end of Pembroke Place at 9.30 am.
Lee, do you know how many have been seen?
Waxwing takes me to 71 for the year.

Unfortunatly not Neil, I've not even seen them yet, it was my Mum who let me know they were there, she said that there was more than 1 when she first saw them yesterday morning although it was seen from the car so she didn't get chance to count them...

Re: WAXWINGS!!!
Single bird sat in lower branches of the Rowan at 1.45pm as I drove past. That's me up to 75 birds, and very lucky that we have a Waxwing in our area with so relatively few about.

Re: WAXWINGS!!!
Waxwing still there and being very photogenic this morning. Briefly wandered on Croston Moss this morning too. Nothing different to what's been seen recently but Red Legged Partridge, Shelduck and Corn Bunting took me up to 78 for the year.

Re: WAXWINGS!!!
Still a single and rather lonely looking Waxwing on the rowan and then the nearby tv aerial today at around half three , as usual everybody seemed oblivious to the foreign visitor
