Little Egret and Brambling bring overall total to 88.

Gary's Merlin brings the overall total up to 90. I was hoping that we might make 100 by the end of January, but it's looking a bit unlikely now

Sorry Len. I'd noticed you'd seen Stonechat, but had forgotten it was a first sighting for the year. That brings us up to 91!

If anyone else thinks I've missed a species, please let me know.

Ricky Hoyle's Little Owl brings January to a close with a total of 93 species.

Barn Owl on Mawdesley Moss brings us to 95 - getting there slowly! An influx of waders in the next week or so should get us past the 100 mark.
