Croston twin lakes / sewage works area .

Went mainly to see how the gc grebes were doing , 2 adults with 2 young each and 2 more adults with young but could not count the young as they were out of view ( heard them calling ) other birds on the water , 50 + canada geese , 2 greylag geese , 30+ coot , several moorhen , mallards , 1 shellduck , 1 little grebe ( heard calling first then spotted ) , small numbers of bh gulls .
Sewage works , 4 oystercatcher were in the sewage works grounds ( feeding on the settlement tanks ) 2 lapwing with 2 well grown young , heard reed bunting and whitethroat singing , 10 + rabbit , 2 hare .
