a good few week ago i saw a pair of shelduck over garden a couple of days later over curden lake then briefly very early one morning on the grass by the pond on meadow lane clayton green then no further sightings till sunday when the female turned up on the wee pond and it is wee with her ducklings in tow [6] today though due to predation from herring gulls now sadly down to one shelduck breeding on the outskirts of town by a wee pond WOULD YOU CREDIT IT ?
