Little owls

Walk up Dean Black Brook from White Coppice, onto round loaf on to Great hill and then back down. Need the exercise for my bad back, but saw pr grey wagtails, pr dippers, wren, pr red grouse, 6 meadow pipits, and a pr of little owls

I was sat having a coffee when I picked out two small grey lumps in a drainage ditch. Wasn't sure what they were so dropped down into the valley and back up from out of site. Got to within 30ft before they were spooked by me. Beautiful!
