We had an hours walk along the R Douglas at Croston. 2 Redshank :) 4 Goosander. 4 Teal. 16Oystercatchers.(most on other side of River). 2 Shelduck. Lapwings. Yellowhammer. Skylarks. Pheasant. Grey Wagtail. Good views of Kingfisher which flew both ways along the river.
Also 2Lg.Bumble Bees.

Total now 89 species. .Watch out Gary, the Tortoise is catching up to the Hare.!!

There were apparently Sand Martins in Salford and Leeds today!
