It seemed like spring with all the bird song and the pairing up of birds.


RUCKS. Chaffinch. Bullfinch. Robin. 3Jays. Blue Tit. Gt.Tit. Lg.T.Tits. Greenfinch. 2Nuthatch. Coal Tit. Woodpigeons. pr.Dunnock. C.Crows. Wren. Pr.Mistlethrush.

R.YARROW. Pr.Dipper with nesting material. Pr.Grey Wagtail. 4Buzzards circling above calling.

BIG LODGE. 5Coot. 1 Moorhen. 33Mallard. 33Canada Geese. app 100 Blk.H.Gulls. Pr.&2Juv.Mute Swans. 2RABBITS behind lodge.

L.B.MEADOWS. another Buzzard. Pr.C.Crows with nesting material. (m) Bullfinch. Reed Bunting. few sm birds. NO SIGN Of SNIPE.!!

Went around this afternoon and saw a pair of very busy Dippers collecting material and nest building along with a pair of Grey Wagtails, not much action on the feeding station which may suffer from being too open as kids just walk around the side but the table at the visitors centre does not seem to be hampered by it as my pics will attest
