Anglgezarke Feeding Station

Post by Dave »

Hi

visited the new feeding station ive been priming, at Anglezarke woohoo 3 bullies, was try ig landing shots of the GT, Birkacres OK for table shots maybe we should put some natural logs and stumps for us togs, I hate table shots rather more natural environment, tables just look carp (anagram) plus could attract more as they can feel safe, anyway a couple of shot from a more friendly natural station, to be honest a couple of table slots you cant get a lens through the holes at birkacre, just isnt cutting it for me at birk, why tables rather than natural logs, I know they are trying but it seems more for peps rather than the wildlife, there was much more when i was a kid when it was un managed to be honest, dont know what others think, be interested to hear, there are lots of positives but theres also many more negatives wildlife way

Rant over I hate tables ( Dave bangs head on wall)

BIRD TABLES AT BIRK

Post by andy leach »

in the name of the wee man whats wrong with the tables at birk they get the birds in. they get people stopping to watch the birds. JOB DONE just because they dont look right for your photos does it really matter that much if the subject is on a bird table and not a branch what would you do if the bird being photographed was ringed edit out the ring? and as for the return to unmannaged birk brill lets do it and have to dodge halfwits on trials bikes and come across dip***** everywhere with air guns take off the rose tinted glasses and try and remember what birk was really like in the GOOD OLD DAYS granted its not perfect but its a dam site better now than its ever been

LOL Andy I dont mean dont manage it all, they are doing a great job, yes I remember the motorbike and airguns, as for bird tables yes they are good for the birds and for people to see the birds there Im just saying some natural feeding stumps and logs as well, it does matter to me anyway about birds being on tables I prefer natural looking shots thats all, :) and thats just silly saying would I Edit out rings of course I wouldnt
