Peregrines 15.01.2012
Two peregrines in acrobatic flight over the centre of Chorley on Sunday, early am.. Few minutes later three b/h gulls were reduced to two as one of the peregrines dived and scored a hit. Very dramatic.

Yeh sadly willow tits are so scarce theses days and I can remember finding numerous nests in the woodland behind the Yarrow Hotel in the 70's but not anymore and as for long tailed tits which incidently are fairing quite well these surely have to be are most endearing small birds and to watch them feeding upside down in the trees is always a marvellous sight.
