Female Merlin hunting along the hedges and by the garden walls all along Dark Lane this morning - flew in front of car all way down - super views!

Great bird, great sighting Brian, its just a pity that we don't see alot more of these chaps in the countryside, for some reason their numbers remain sluggish even though harmful pesticides where outlawed many years ago and which peregrine and sparrowhawk numbers have increased substantially during such time.
