Long tailed Tits

Is it me or are we short of LTTs this winter. I have not had any in the garden, in normal years they are daily visitors with flocks up to 12/15 - but this winter - nothing. Also hardly seen any when out and about! Has the wet summer had an adverse affect on their numbers?

I've seen a flock at Great Knowley a few times and a flock at YVP on a number of occassions. I also saw a group on Croston Moss last Saturday.

I've probably seen the same flock as Len here at Great Knowley but I agree with Brian that they are not as common as usual.

Out of the area but I was visited by a flock of about 10 yesterday, whilst working in Frecklton

Minimum of 6 in the garden yesterday,near the feeders by the patio doors.Coppull

we are getting a group of about 6-10 coming through the garden in Euxton most days and sometimes twice a day.
