3 again today at st Peter's school, just looking through my photos and i noticed a blue ring on one of the birds, not sure if this is significant?? also male Goldeneye on heapy lodge yesterday no3 I think.

Hi John, 2 of the 3 birds were double ringed on their left legs - the upper white the lower blue and a single metal ring on their right legs. I too was viewing these birds at 3pm today. Notably, there's very few berrys left on the 2 small rowan trees, so I don't think they'll be hanging round for much longer at this location.
