At 2.25 there were 7 with a brief appearance of an eighth. Then a Black Headed Gull stormed the party and started chasing them. I left at this point but 4 did appear to land in the trees at the back of the school. The other 4 flew off more distantly.

19 present at 3.00 pm. When I arrived 7 were perched in a tree in St Peter's school grounds. They then flew across onto the berries and then flew to another tree just on Botany Brow. After a few minutes another 12 joined them, and they were all still there when I left.

Just 5 Waxwings perched in a tree in the grounds of St Peter's School this morning at 9.30 am, opposite the two Rowan trees.

Yes 6 there, very skittish don't seem to want to settle on the Rowan. Not the best place to be taking photos right outside the school and very busy road . Take it I was the photographer.

No birds there at 8:00, but 6 there at 9:05, when I returned with my camera, perhaps it was me you saw Dave.

It was just after 9am when I saw a tog there in the middle of the road/island across from laundry on Botany, had a tripod canon camera, and maybe wearing a camo Jacket on I was driving so just a fleeting glimpse

Would it not be best for someone to maybe call the school and tell them about the birds, I too thought about taking pics but decided not to bother!!!

Im sure they would be interested about the birds.

Regards Rich
I too saw tog, whilst on my way to go fishing
