Single bird present at 7.30am this morning , the bird was trilling from the top of a conifer in the large garden opposite the petrol station there is a crab apple type tree in the garden and yellow rowan tree at the front of the garden the bird eventually flew off west ( WORTH KEEPING AN EYE ON) other birds spotted,
2 mistle thrush guarding 2 rowan trees near my house.
50 pinkfoot flew over heading west.
100+ woodpigeon flew over.
St marys church, 2 goldcrest , 1 nuthatch , 1 gs pecker , mistle thrush blackbird and redwing feeeding on yew berries .
1 song thrush eating the last berries on a rowan .
I noticed a tree full of apples opposite the farmers arms pub which could also be a possible waxwing site.

Just checked out the area again , no sign of any waxwings but plenty of starlings , plenty of berries on docters lane near the junction , also heard a crest near my house which sounded a bit different but could not get a good view of the bird.
