4 birds still present also mistle thrush and 2 blackbirds feeding on the berries , the waxwings were spending plenty of time in one of the large trees behind the petrol station , waxwing brings my chorley year list up to 131 species .

Mick,

Best place to look is anywhere where there are berries, particularly rowan. We are not aware of any in the Chorley area at the moment - the 4 which were in Adlington seem to have moved on. There has been a large flock of up to 200 birds in Euston Street, Preston during the last week or two, and 8 have been seen this morning near Morrison's on Preston Docks, which is not far from Euston Street as the Waxwing flies.
