Merlin at Mawdesley Moss

Post by colintprof »

A juv/female Merlin was showing well last Sunday morning in the bright sunshine.
She perched on a telegraph pole for a few minutes west of the turbines beside the main track running north to Croston. I got a great view from 100metres away.
I don't get the chance to visit this area, perhaps readers could advise me where the local owls and wintering raptors might be found in this area?

Thanks, Colin.
