Should have gone to Croston Moss! Fairly quiet at Lower Healey with Willow Tit in a tit flock along Old Bagganley Lane being the highlight. No sign of any winter thrushes, although there is a reasonable crop of Hawthorn berries in the area. Full sightings:-
pair Mute Swan, Mallard 3, Tufted Duck 3, Coot 3, Moorhen 6, Grey Heron 2, Cormorant over, Sparrowhawk, BH Gull 2, Woodpigeon 7, Kingfisher, Pied Wagtail 2, Blackbird, Mistle Thrush 2, Song Thrush, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Blue Tit, Great Tit, 3 flocks LT Tit each averaging 10 birds, Jay 2, Magpie, Jackdaw, Crow, Rook, Starling, House Sparrow, Chaffinch 15, Goldfinch, Linnet, Lesser Redpoll, Bullfinch 2
