Winter hill snow buntings 9.30/10.30am.

Finally found the 2 snow buntings ( my fourth visit) , i first spotted them on the gravel just before the main building before they flew off to the gravel path directly across from the main building were they got settled and were feeding well , the weather was awful walking up but quite sheltered were the buildings are , i also heard a couple of unidentified calls on the way up mast road but could not pick any birds up due to the conditions.
coppull jolly tar lane , plentyof jackdaws on the stubble , 1 pheasant and 1 kestrel .

I guess you win, Gary! Anybody who's prepared to go up Winter Hill to tick Snow Bunting in this morning's weather deserves first place! :wink:
