The 8 Goosander were still present at 10.30 am, but 2 of the males had left the site before I did. One and possibly two Kingfishers were on Top Lodge. A Reed Bunting was around the feeding station.

A skein of c250 PF Geese flew over heading south. A quick drive around Coppull Hall Lane, Jolly Tar Lane and Green Lane failed to find any on the ground. There were however large numbers of corvids in the fields.

A Kestrel was perched in a tree alongside Yarrow Valley Way. 2 Little Grebe, 18 Mallard, 5 Moorhen and a Coot were on Common Bank Lodge

It seems the Pinkfeet on Saturday were in fields near Throstles Nest Wood. Thanks John for the info.
Today, a new Mute Swan has arrived and was snoozing on Top Lodge away from the attentions of the resident family. 21 Canada Geese were on Big Lodge as well as the regulars.
The feeding station was busy with good numbers of Blue, Great, Coal and LT Tit, Nuthatch, Chaffinch, Robin and Blackbird.

He was on the big lodge Monday - got the usual welcome from the locals, almost drowned him between them. He managed to get out of the water and headed for the top lodge - he has a ring on and I sent the number to Wes Halton - he is waiting for the ringer to contact him it's from the the mid wales/Staffordshire study. First time it's been logged in this area.
